Libby Overly, LCSW
Libby Overly has worked in the field of aging since 1994 when she earned an MSW from University of Southern Mississippi. Prior to that, she was a licensed counselor and had worked primarily in mental health since 1982. Libby has worked in hospice, home health, adult day care, nursing homes, geriatric care management and as a grassroots advocate for the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare in Washington. She is also the co-founder of Needymeds.org, a website that links people with prescription drug assistance programs.
Libby grew up in New Jersey but has lived in Iowa, Maine, Alabama and Maryland. She now resides in Fayetteville GA, just south of Atlanta with her three dogs.
